- 🚭 No smoking indoors, at the residence entrance, on the street in front, or near neighbors’ doors (Japan-wide policy). This includes bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, balcony, windows, and entryway. If odor, ash, butts, or burn marks are found after checkout, special cleaning, deodorization, linen replacement, and related costs may be assessed under applicable rules. In clear, severe cases, a single cleaning-related item may reach on the order of JPY 50,000—we will explain in advance before any charge. Neighbor complaints may involve the booking platform.
